How to change the date format from US to British in your browser?

Microsoft Internet Explorer

  1. Go to Tools and select Internet Options
  2. In the dialog box under first tab General, look for the button Languages and click on it
  3. Another dialog box will prompt on the screen, click the button Add and the screen should be as shown in figure 1
  4. Look for English (United Kingdom) [en-GB] from the list and highlight it, then click OK. Listing in order of preference, if you want to make en-GB as default, select en-GB and click the button Move Up to most first position.

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Go to Tools and select Options
  2. Choose Content in the dialog box, look for the group Languages and click the button Choose
  3. Another dialog box will prompt on the screen, the screen should be as shown in figure 2
  4. Look for English/United Kingdom [en-gb] from the list and click Add. Listing in order of preference, if you want to make en-gb as default, select en-gb and click the button Move Up to most first position.
